This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes what information AMPA Orthodontics Private Limited (“Company/ We, Us/ Our”), may collect from a user (“You”, “Your” or “User”), on or through Our website www.makeO.app or mobile app makeO) (the “Site/ Platform”), directly or in relation to Products and Services rendered by Us, including but not limited to consultation and purchase of Clinical dental or skin or beauty services or products and services offered by Company's various registered third-party/ies (third parties shall for the purpose of this Terms, include without limitation, third party dental, skin clinics third-party labs etc.) ("Products and Services") (each a “Service”, and collectively the “Services”) and how We use, process, disclose and try to protect such information.
This Policy is published pursuant to:
- Information Technology Act, 2000;
- Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Information) Rules, 2011 (“SPI Rules”); and

This Policy also describes how the Company manages your Personal Data in compliance with the Indian Laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as “DPDPA”). What personal data or information does the Company / Website / App collected from You is covered by this Policy?

- Personal information is information related to a User, or a combination of pieces of information that could reasonably allow the User to be identified. Personal information may consist of full name, user name, personal contact numbers, residential address, email address, medical history, other information about you and your family member, gender or date of birth, financial information such as bank account or credit card or debit card or other payment instrument details. While information such as date of birth in isolation may not be enough to uniquely identify the visitor, a combination of full name and date of birth may be sufficient to do so.
- Medical Records means and includes comprehensive documentation of a customer’s oral health history, treatments, and ongoing care which comprises of
- Customer Information that includes Personal Information as mentioned above and
- Clinical Notes including detailed notes from dental examinations, including findings related to oral health, existing conditions, and treatment plans;
- Diagnostic Records including X-rays, photographs, and other imaging used for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Treatment History including records of procedures performed, medications prescribed, and outcomes of treatments;
- Consent Forms that is customer’s consent for procedures and treatments;
- Correspondence includes communication with internal team providing Orthodontics and Dermatologic assistance including referrals, and consultations through phone calls, WhatsApp messages, letters, emails, and other electronic messages, or in person.;
- Billing Information that includes details of services rendered and associated costs;
- Legal Documentation that includes any legal documents related to the customer’s care or treatment.
- Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies:
We utilize “cookies” and other tracking technologies. A “cookie” is a small text file that may be used, for example, to collect information about activity on the Site or the App. Some cookies and other technologies may serve to recall information previously indicated or submitted by a User. - Personalized Treatment Planning – Data collection from you enables the Company to create customized treatment plans tailored to each of the customer’s/user’s unique needs and conditions that includes analysing teeth alignment and bite patterns, and in skin treatments involve assessing skin type, concerns, and response to services or products
- Progress Monitoring – Services provided by makeO often require ongoing monitoring to track progress and adjustment of treatment as per needs and requirements thereby ensuring evaluation of changes over a period of time and ensuring treatment effectiveness.
- Treatment Optimization – By analysing collected data, the Company can optimize treatment protocols and techniques to enhance outcomes.
- Outcome Predictions – Data analysis helps the Company to predict treatment outcomes based on historical patterns, assisting both customer/user and the Company in setting realistic expectations and goals
- Research and Development – Aggregate data from makeO services Users contributes to research and development efforts, leading to innovations in treatment method and technologies
- Customer/User Education – Data Collection supports your education by providing insights into treatment progress and the importance of adherence to treatment protocols thereby helping understand your condition better and actively participate in your care.
- Remote monitoring and support – In case of remote monitoring through collected data, We can offer support and guidance without frequent in-person visits which includes providing support and process, evaluation and response to requests and inquiries.
- Regulatory Compliance and Safety – We collects Data to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety guidelines introduced and applicable to the Company Services.

We do not share your data to any third party. Further unless a specific consent is taken, it can never be shared with the third party.
However, we may be compelled to share your details under following special circumstances such as when we believe in good faith and is required by law. Please note that the same shall considered as “Certain Legitimate Uses” under Section 7 of the DPDPA, 2023.

- How do we safely store your data and for how long?
We take appropriate security measures to protect your data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed by unauthorized sources. We limit access to your personal data to employees within the organization, medical practitioners, and to those with a legitimate business or industry need.
We will only retain your data for stipulated time of 3 (three) years to fulfil the purposes, we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, audit, or reporting requirements or until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive the services and storage/consultation facilities provided by the Company.
In general, customer related personal data is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship for which you have given your due consent, or for a minimum period of 3 (three) years, or for a shorter/longer period if required by local laws and regulatory requirements only.
For data provided to us by our clients, we are governed by data retention laws and rules as specified in Indian laws.
The Users have the right to request the deletion of their personal data only under certain circumstances that includes data that is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed. The deletion request can be submitted by User by exercising in built delete request on the App or by submitting deletion requests on contact information mentioned below. The request for data deletion shall be accepted subject to legal obligations or to resolve dispute if any. As soon, as the data deletion request is placed by you, the Company shall within required timeline as provided by law shall delete all your personal data. Once, the data deletion is done by the Company a confirmation email and message notification shall be sent by the Company on registered email id and contact number provided by the User.
Through the setting of IT applications and policies we ensure that our keeping of your personal data is deleted when we no longer need it as per law.

At makeO, we do not intend to collect any information from children under the age of eighteen (18), unless the information is collected from a parent or guardian.
