MakeO In The First Place
MakeO never started with a business plan; it started with a pattern. Four doctors- orthodontists and dermatologists- kept running into the same dead end. People who needed clearer skin or straighter teeth found the process slow, intimidating, and priced like a luxury.
So, the four of them identified this challenge and built something that met people where they actually were, on their terms, and without an expensive price tag. That’s how MakeO Healthcare Technologies Limited (commonly called makeO) was established in 2018.
Today, MakeO Healthcare Technologies Limited is the registered entity behind toothsi and MakeO (previously Skinnsi), and together they have become India’s leading clinical beauty platform. MakeO has become India’s favorite because it makes smile transformations and skin treatment feel less like a luxury and more like something everyone deserves.

In February 2026, MakeO Toothsi joined forces with Zenyum (Singapore’s leading consumer-focused dental brand). In a landmark merger built on a shared belief: a confident smile shouldn’t depend on where you live or how much you can spend.
Together, we became Asia’s leading consumer dental company, combining our clinical expertise, patented AMPA technology, and our vision with Zenyum’s innovation and reach. Our aim was to bring affordable, advanced teeth alignment and whitening treatment to millions of people across the region.
What did the merger bring?
Consolidated our presence across 9 other countries, including India and the Middle East, namely Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Taiwan.

Dr Arpi Mehta is the Co-Founder and CEO of MakeO Toothsi, a certified lingual orthodontist with 15 years of experience. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Dental Surgery from Nair Hospital Dental College in Mumbai, with advanced specialization in lingual orthodontics from Paris and Geneva. Before starting Toothsi, she ran her own orthodontic clinical practice, working directly with patients on smile correction, an experience that shaped her vision for building tech-backed, affordable dental care at scale.
Dr Manjul Jain is a Co-Founder of makeO Toothsi, an Orthodontist and Implantologist with 30 years of experience, still practicing directly with patients in Andheri West, Mumbai, alongside his work at Toothsi. He completed his Master's in Orthodontics from KLE Institute of Dental Sciences, Belgaum, and is a certified lingual orthodontist from Germany. He's also the co-inventor and co-patent owner of Lingualmatrix, India's first CAD/CAM-based 3D lingual bracket system, a breakthrough that helped bring invisible orthodontic correction to Indian patients. At Toothsi, he draws on three decades of clinical practice to shape treatment quality and training standards, carrying the same precision from his own clinic into every smile plan.
Dr Pravin Shetty is a Co-Founder of MakeO Toothsi and one of the pioneers who brought clear aligner technology to India, with over 20 years of clinical experience advancing orthodontics toward more discreet and accessible treatment. He trained internationally in lingual orthodontics and went on to develop India's first CAD/CAM 3D lingual bracket system, Lingualmatrix, a breakthrough that made invisible, behind-the-teeth correction possible for Indian patients for the first time. At Toothsi, he oversees the planning and design of every smile plan, bringing the same clinical rigor that's defined his career, now delivered at scale through technology.
Dr Anirudha Kale is a Co-Founder of makeO Toothsi with 25 years of focused clinical expertise in orthodontics, known for high-precision results well before clear aligners became mainstream in India. He completed his Master's in Orthodontics from the Institute of Dental Sciences, Belgaum, followed by a Lingual Fellowship in Dortmund, Germany, training that placed him among India's earliest specialists in lingual, invisible orthodontic techniques. At Toothsi, he brings this clinical depth to every treatment plan, combining decades of hands-on precision with the platform's scale and convenience.
